The Gesellschaft für Akustikforschung Dresden mbH operates in the fields of machine acoustics, environmental acoustics, and building and room acoustics. We offer our clients acoustic measurements, determination of material parameters, acoustically optimized design of systems, machines and components, as well as consulting on all aspects of acoustics and noise reduction. We also develop acoustic measurement technology and application software. Our specialist areas include sound absorbers and silencers, numerical calculation methods, structure-borne sound, Active Noise Control (ANC), and the measurement-based localization of sound sources. For more than 15 years we have therefore been a successful partner of internationally leading companies in the automotive and shipbuilding, mechanical engineering, civil and road construction sectors, as well as government agencies, public administration, universities and other research institutions.
